Leader of Opposition in Delhi Assembly Ramvir Singh Bidhuri on Friday said here charged that Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has broken his promise of not allowing any member of family to join politics by launching wife into the arena. 

Levelling this allegation, Bidhuri also said now their guarantees have become like Chinese goods. Kejriwal had said that no member of my family will enter politics but after the Enforcement Directorate(ED)arrested him, he has launched his wife into politics.

Bidhuri also said Kejriwal had promised he will not compromise with any party, will not form the government with anyone's support, will not take a government bungalow, will not take security and official vehicles and no other member of the family will enter politics.

He claimed Kejriwal's wife has been taking messages from her husband in ED custody and jail and conveying them to the workers. Now she is regularly going to campaign for Aam Aadmi Party in the Lok Sabha elections and will also hold a road show in East Delhi on Saturday.

After this she will campaign in the rest of Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and other states of the country. This announcement has been made by Aam Aadmi Party minister Atishi, Bidhuri said.

He said everyone in the country has the right to enter politics and no one should have any objection in it. BJP especially welcomes the empowerment of women and their entry into politics. That is why a bill for one-third reservation for women has also been passed.

Here the question is not about a woman entering politics but about the end of familyism and Kejriwal's guarantees. Aam Aadmi Party had passed the resolution opposing nepotism. It was even said if a member of someone's family becomes a corporation councilor, then no other member of that family will be allowed into politics and will not be given any post.

Kejriwal's wife does not hold any post but she is becoming a clear example of nepotism and dynasty politics. Kejriwal is ensuring that if he has to resign from the post of Chief Minister, his wife will become the Chief Minister, Bidhuri claimed.
