Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Sunday praised Director of Beam Technology Archana Sharma and Scientific Officer Jyoti Diwan of the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre of Mumbai.
Speaking to Sai in Raipur, they urged him to set up a nuclear power plant in the state.
They said that in order to achieve zero carbon emissions, setting up a nuclear power plant was a high priority.
Not only will the plant be highly beneficial but it will also open up new employment opportunities, they said.
Sai assured them that promoting green energy was in his interest and positive initiatives would be taken in this direction.
