Bhopal recorded severe hot and humid conditions at 40 degree celsius.

Met has issued warning of hot nights in at some places in Narmadapuram, Gwalior, Datiya, Satna, Umaria and Maihar districts while thunderstorm and gusty winds (30-40 km/hr) with isolated light rainfall would be witnessed over Vidisha and Raisen districts.

The mercury remained more than 42 degrees in Khargone-Khandwa. Temperatures of 41 degrees or more were recorded in Narsinghpur, Khajuraho, Rewa, Sidhi. The mercury remained more than 40 degrees in Damoh, Nowgong, Tikamgarh, Umaria, Malajkhand, Satna and Mandla.

At the same time, the mercury crossed 41 degrees in Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, Shivpuri, Khajuraho, Khargone, Satna, Damoh and Rewa. Betul, Seoni, Narsinghpur, Guna, Sagar, Umaria and Nowgong recorded temperatures of 40 degrees or more.
