Patients need to register on Aura scan

Thursday, 09 May 2024 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAL

It is now mandatory for patients coming to OPD of Hamidia Hospital to register through Aura Scan. The main reason for this is the increase in registration from 200 to 900 and as 2500 patients come to Hamidia daily. The biggest advantage of getting the registration done on mobile will be that the patient will not have to stand in the OPD queue for the doctor's prescription. This system has also been connected to the laboratory.

That means patients will also get lab reports online. The trial of the new system has also now been completed. This has come into effect. The administration has also deployed volunteers for the convenience of the patients, who are helping the patients download the applications on their mobiles.

Online appointments with doctors will also start through this medium. Apart from this, it will also be known whether the beds are vacant or not.

Aabha (ABHA) app will have to be downloaded in the mobile, volunteers are also helping in the hospital. Bar codes have been installed in OPD. As soon as patients scan and enter their details, they will get an ID number.
