Crime branch nabs cheat absconding for one year

The crime branch Bhopal arrested the accused, who committed fraud in the name of job and was absconding for a year, a fraud of Rs 60 lakh was committed by cheating people in the name of facilitating government jobs.

One of the victims Ganpat Singh of Bijli Nagar Colony, Govindpura lodged a complaint against Pramod Mishra, Arun Mishra and Prakash Mishra for grabbing money on the pretext of getting a government job. The accused had cheated him of Rs 30 lakh on the pretext of getting me a government job. When he  asked for the return of Rs 30 lakh Pramod provided a cheque  number 000011, dated 09/12/2022 of a private Bank, which he  deposited in bank and that cheque got dishonoured, based on the complaint case under section 420, 467, 468, 471 of the IPC was registered.

In which earlier two accused Prakash Mishra and Pramod Mishra, were arrested and presented in the court.

The Crime Branch team received information that Arun Mishra, is roaming around and is planning to surrender in the court. After informing the senior officers about the information received, the accused was arrested near the district court and presented before the court.

Bhopal Crime Branch has arrested the accused who was absconding for three years in the case of fraud of Rs 30 lakh. The accused had committed fraud in the name of getting a job. In this case, the police have already arrested two sons of the accused. The entire action has been carried out on the information of the informer. The accused had come to the court planning to surrender.

According to the police, Arun Mishra's father Sachchidanand Mishra (55) was a resident of village Surasakala and had cheated many people of about Rs 60 lakh in the name of government job. Complainant Ganpat Singh, father Raghunandan Singh (30), resident of Bijli Colony, Govindpura, had complained to the Crime Branch that Arun Mishra and his sons Prakash Mishra and Pramod Mishra had extorted about Rs 30 in the name of getting a government job.

When the complainant asked for the money back, the accused gave her a check which bounced. After this, the complainant complained to the Crime Branch and after investigation, the police registered sections 420, 467, 468, 471 of IPC against all three and started investigation. In this case, two accused Prakash Mishra, father of Arun Mishra and Pramod Mishra, father of Arun Mishra, have been arrested and sent to jail.
