Justice Bose visits AMS stall

Chief Justice of Jharkhand High Court Justice Aniruddha Bose today visited stall of Antarrashtriya Manvadhikar Sangathan after inauguration of Samveshi Nyay Sadan at badam Village in Namkum. During the visit Justice Bose said in order to make legal services reach the people of the State institutions like JHAlSA, DlSA of districts and organizations such as AMS are playing a huge role, which needs to be intensified. Justice Bose took stock of the activities of stalls including AMS on the occasion. AMS state president Rajesh Singh provided the information and presented note books, awareness kit, literature, brochure etc to the visiting guests and gave a detailed account of the works of the organization.

108 Helpline gets 80 % nuisance calls

The 108 helpline in Jharkhand, operated by Ziqitza ltd (ZHl), receives 80 per cent ineffective calls in a day which is affecting the genuine callers in need. These calls include general enquiries regarding mobile recharges, gas connection problems, information about fake locations where ambulances are not needed, abusive calls, unnecessary calls to have a conversation with the female employees, and other such problems which are beyond the scope of work of the helpline.

In the past 75 days the helpline received more than 1.6 lakh nuisance and ineffective calls, as a result of which, officials from Ziqitza Healthcare ltd collectively spend a considerable amount of time attending unproductive calls. Additionally, these irrelevant calls block the system, affecting patients in need of an ambulance, which could result in the loss of valuable lives, stated a press communiqué issued by the company.

Obesity has become one of the leading causes of endometrial cancer, causing a two to five-fold risk. Max Institute of Cancer Care, presented cases of morbidly obese patients, with BMI over 40, who underwent successful robotic surgery for endometrial cancer.

Senior specialists Dr. Harit Chaturvedi, Chairman – Cancer Care, Director & Chief Consultant - Surgical Oncology, Dr. PK Julka, Senior Director - Oncology Daycare Centre; Dr. Amish Chaudhary, Senior Consultant – Gynaecology Oncology and Robotics, and Dr. Kanika Batra Modi, Associate Consultant – Gynaecology Oncology, Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket addressed the media on the rising incidence of obesity-induced endometrial cancer – especially in post-menopausal women.
