Deputy Commissioner (DC) Rai Mahimapat Ray on Saturday asked all departments to gear up for smooth conduct of the State’s Foundation Day function to be held at Morhabadi ground on November 15.
The DC Rai Mahimapat Ray issued the directions at a district-level meeting in which Ranchi SSP Anish Gupta, Traffic SP Sanjay Singh, sub-divisional officer Garima Singh and other officials participated.
The DC asked the Ranchi Municipal Corporation to clean up the entire Morahabadi area and also provide drinking water and mobile toilets during the celebration. He directed the civil surgeon to set up a medical camp along with doctors and para-medical staffs for the function.
“All the departments must be ready with the list of assets to be distributed during the function in advance so that programmes is conducted smoothly,” he said.
Ray also asked the power department to ensure uninterrupted supply during the celebrations. “A control room would be set up that would monitor different aspects of the arrangements round the clock,” he said. The DC informed that the foundation day function would begin with a Prabhat Pheri, which would be taken out by the children in the morning.
