Haryana Chief Minister, Manohar Lal on Saturday inaugurated and dedicated the newly constructed Dr Mangal Sen Elevated Road, constructed at the cost of about Rs 150 crore to the people of Rohtak.
Addressing the people at the inauguration, he described the four years’ tenure of the present state government as Bemisal (unmatched). After the inauguration, the road was opened for the traffic. He also paid floral tributes to Dr Mangal Sen. The Chief Minister announced to give Rs 25 crore for the developmental works in Rohtak.
He also announced to construct a huge statue of Dr Mangal Sen, over an area of one acre in Rohtak, besides the construction of a museum for inspiring the youth from the life of Dr Mangal Sen. He said that following the ideology of Dr Mangal Sen, the present government has implemented several welfare schemes for the people.
Manohar Lal said that the state government has carried out development works across the state without any bias, which would continue in future also. He said that under the able leadership of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, the country has progressed in all fields.
Those present included Education Minister, Ram Bilas Sharma, Finance Minister, Capt. Abhimanyu, Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister, O.P. Dhankar, Minister of State for Co-operation, Manish Kumar Grover and BJP State President, Subhash Barala.
