CM pays tribute to ND Tiwari

Chief Minister Raghubar Das expressed his grief on the demise of former Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand Chief Minister Narayan Datt Tiwari. He prayed to God to give strength to the family members and peace for the departed soul.

CM expresses grief at Amritsar accident

Chief Minister Raghubar Das expressed his distress over the dreadful train accident in Amritsar in which more than 80 people lost their lives. The CM prayed for strength to the families of the dead and hoped for a quick recovery of the injured. The incident occurred on ‘Vijayadashmi’.

Meditation camp at Brahma Kumari

Prajapita Brahma Kumari Ishwariya Vishwa Vidyalay located at Harmu road Ranchi, is organising a stress reliving meditation camp from October 21 to October 25 October 2018. The inauguration ceremony for the same will be held on October 21 at 5pm.

Crowd gathers at Hatia puja pandal

Devotees thronged the puja pandal at Hatia station to catch a glimpse of Goddess Durga. On Ashtami, the eighth day of puja, women took charge of ‘bhog’ distribution from noon to 5pm. There were a variety of food stalls and swings put up for the visitors. Secretary of the puja samiti Inderjit Singh said that in view of the crowd, the committee members were instructed to solve any problems or complaints immediately. The junior members of the committee Akash, Aditya, Pratham Choubey, Suman, Sumit Raj played a vital role in managing the pandal while the whole affair passed off peacefully.

 Jains unite to save ‘Shikharji’

In an endeavor to protect the sanctity of the sacred Jain pilgrimage site ‘Shikharji’ or ‘Parasnath Hill’, in Giridhi district, Jharkhand, a campaign by Jyoti- a non- profit organization is being organized under the guidance of Jainacharya Shrimad Vijay Yugbhushan Suriji. The movement ‘Save Shikharji’ which started a month ago has awakened the entire Jain community all over the world. Acharya said, “Maha Tirths like Shikharji are the epitome of the spiritual wealth of religiously prolific India. Hampering the purity of such places is no less than sabotaging the pride of our nation.”

Rai lays foundation stone for Narayan’s statue

Saryu Rai, Minister of Consumer Affairs, food supplies laid the foundation stone of the statue of Jaiprakash Narayan on Mango Bridge, Jamshedpur. The construction has started along with beautification work of this park. The Minister said that Jaiprakash Narayan was an icon and a statue is being installed here in his memory. A total of six lakh has been allotted for the site from the MLA’s fund.
