Tuesday, 02 October 2018 | PNS | Indore

Indore IIM which is under HRD ministry is once again in limelight as the poor quality of food was served to the hostel students and due to which many students fell sick and these students complained about the poor quality of food served to them in the complaint register.

The IIM administration took this issue sincerely and examined all the details regarding the food details and raw material provided to the mess for cooking.  A show-cause notice was served to the contractor who was providing service of food to the hostellers. Many photographs were taken of the mess and were analyzed. At last the contractor was fined for Rs 7 lakh and also a warning was issued to him. It is to be noted that in IIM Indore total 2000 students are pursuing degrees in different year’s batch and there are around 5 hostels where all these students dine.
