PhD student gets national level award for painting

Bharat Kumar Jain, a student of PhD in Indian painting department of Sanchi Buddhist University, has won a national level award for painting.

AIFACS (All India Fine Arts and Craft Society, New Delhi) will get Rs 250000 as cash award. He will be in Delhi to accept the award on December 10. Bharat Kumar is a resident of Vidisha. AIFACS organizes this competition annually. Professional painters and free lancing painters participated in this competition.

This competition is organized for all levels of participants. In addition to Bharat Kumar, more than 200 painters were selected for this competition in which he got the first place.

Apart from this award of IIFAX, Bharat Kumar has also been selected for the Camp of the CMR Educational Institute Bangalore. For this selection, the institute has given him 15 thousand rupees cash prize. In fact, CMR Educational Institution is the University of British Institute of Technology and for this camp, 25 painters were selected from all over the country. Madhya Pradesh's only painter who was selected in the camp was also India. The institution had given priority to study by adding architect to art, for which these painters were invited for painting.

Vice Chancellor of Sanchi University Yagneshwar S. Shastri and the Registrar Aditi Kumar Tripathi congratulated Bharat Kumar for their successes.

The Indian painting department of Sanchi University has achieved three successes. These officers also congratulated the Department and the Head of the departments for these successes. Snehlata Mishra, a student of the University's PhD, has been selected for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) of UGC.

Sushmita Nandy, Head of the Department of Indian Paintings Department of the University is conferred the National Women's Kalaratna Award.

Bharat Kumar has also been selected for the National Lalit Kala Akademi. He has also been selected for the scholarship of the Central Culture Ministry and the Praful Dhankar has also been selected for the Central Zone Award.
