A seminar on ‘Important Issue on GST and E-Way Bill under Goods and services Tax (GST)’ was held for city CA students. The seminar was organised by CICASA Bhopal Branch of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI).
The seminar was organised at Hotel Atishay and began with the lighting of the lamp. CA Navneet Garg was the speaker of the seminar who has provided the overall knowledge of E-way bill in a very effective way. He explained that e-way bill is required to be generated if the consignment value greater than Rs 50000. However, it is not mandatory to generate E-way in the case of transportation of jewellery. Even an unregistered person can also generate E - way.
The event was conducted by CICASA Secretary Priyanka Rijhwani. The programme started by welcome speech by the host CA Anoop Shrivastav CICASA Chairman Bhopal Branch of ICAI. The Event was graced by CA Abhishek Gupta Chairman Bhopal Branch of ICAI by his speech.
The nation-wide E-way bill has implemented from April 1 this year. It is to be noted that E-way Bill is one of the major reforms in GST and would bring about a revolutionary change in the way movement of goods will be governed in the country therefore it is the need of the hour to keep the students informed about the various provisions of tax.
On this event, Vice Chairman CICASA Committee Shubham Rai and Executive Committee Members Shobhit Jain, Yashi Gupta, Tanpreet Kaur, Palak Maheshwari and Ishaan Gupta were also present.
