The Trikarshi theatre troupe is all set to woo the Bhopalites with new plays. In a theatre festival, Trikarshi theatre troupe will present new productions that would be featuring new theatre artists.
The Vibha Mishra Memorial Theatre Festival will begin on October 25 at Shaheed Bhavan auditorium. Currently, the theatre troupe is busy in doing the final rehearsals of the plays. The five day long theatre festival will be a mass treat for the theatre lovers.
A two-month long theatre workshop for the same is being organised under the direction of founder of Trikarshi thetare troupe KG Trivedi.
During the month long theatre workshop, students are taught the basic acting exercises to strengthen their acting foundation.
This training programme would further train the students to free them from self consciousness and strengthen their concentration through sensory exercises.
Students will be given assignments to apply in their theatrical personality and performances.
How to use the props and properties, speech therapy, improvisation of stories, body movements, facial expression with dialogue, and footwork on music along with other experimental exercises will be taught to them by the theater personalities
At the theatre festival three new plays including Bhola directed by Mridula Bharadwaj, Kanyadaan directed by Shivakant Verma and Jayaz Hatyare directed by Rahul Singh will be staged. Notably, more than 50 theatre aspirants are a part of the festival.
Apart from these three plays, Hindi plays including Actress and Beton Wali Vidhwa will also be staged at the theatre festival.
