Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh while commenting on the decision of the Supreme Court over AugustaWestland chopper deal said ‘truth always triumphs’.
The decision coming on the occasion of Shivratri provides a good indication, he said.
Singh said “Chhattisgarh government followed all the regulations formed by Purchase Committee comprising Principal Secretary, Finance, Aviation Secretary and Principal Secretary to Chief Minister and ensured complete transparency in the purchase”.
It has proved false, the claim of petitioners that there were irregularities in the purchase process. The Supreme Court had now ruled that the purchase done was fair and there was no need to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT)”, he said.
