A good intelligence officer is made by taking experience from challenges and continuous study and thoughtfulness about related subjects. Therefore, police officers should always keep in mind the tendency to learn. Director General of Police Vijay Kumar Singh expressed his views to this effect.
DGP Singh was addressing the convocation ceremony of trainee sub-inspectors of 10th batch of special branch cadre of Madhya Pradesh Police as the chief guest. He emphasized on constantly conducting refresher courses to meet new challenges faced day by day.
In this batch, a total of 35 sub-inspectors including 13 women trainee sub-inspectors have undergone a year of rigorous basic training and which includes internal and external training.
DGP Singh said that the urge to learn something should remain in mind till the last day of government service. Training is a continuous process. Only by having strong will power to learn, we can become efficient officers. Basic training introduces the department. Continuous training is required to become a skilled officer.
Apart from this ADG Makwana elaborated on the basic elements which were provided during the training and termed the special branch as the backbone of the police department and called upon the trainee officers to discharge their duties with dedication and professional acumen.
On the basis of the outstanding performance during the training session, Sub Inspector Rupali Raghuvanshi was awarded with trophy who topped in the group while Akash Bhadauria and Renu Panwar were second and third in training.
