‘Travelling in public transport must

Indore collector Lokesh Jatav on Friday reached his office by boarding the public transport city bus from his house. He was accompanied with Indore municipal commissioner Ashish Singh. Indore collector while travelling in the public transport bus also discussed with the fellow passengers and listened to their experience of their daily travel.

While talking to The Pioneer Jatav told that more and more people of Indore should adopt the habit of travelling in the public carrier while travelling to their office or jobs and should give up the thought driving in their personal vehicles as their status sysmbol.

Travelling in the city buses will also reduce the crowd of cars and bikes on the road and also reduce the traffic problems in the city and will also reduce the pollution problem as well it will save the precious diesel and petrol.

“I have purchased the smart card and every Friday I will come to office by public transport bus as well the entire Indore district administration employees. Presently we have the facility of reserved seats for handicaps and women and senior citizen but very soon we will purchase low floor buses in which the handicaps can board the bus along with his wheel chair,” he added.

ADM Indore Ajay Dev Sharama District registrar Balkrishna Mourya,CEO Indore smart city Aditi Garg Additional commissioner IMC Krihsna chaitanya CEO IZP Neha Meena and Deputy CEO IZP Madhulika Shukla also reached to their office by public transport.
