22-yr-old girl falls into well, dies

A 22-year-old girl died after she fell in a well near her house in Pavdi under Berasia police station area; deceased went to take bath on November 4 and was dead on Wednesday.

Police said that the deceased Sapna Mongai was found downed in a well near her house on Wednesday.  After the body was spotted by the locals, police were informed and a team reached the spot and started further investigation.

In the initial investigation police found that the deceased had gone to take bath at well and while taking she fell inside the well but her body surfaced after two days. The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation.

Police have ruled out any other possibility of death or sexual assault still those angles would be investigated. The post mortem report is awaited. The deceased after leaving studies used to stay at home. More details would be investigated in the further investigation.

Meanwhile, a 22-year-old male nurse committed suicide at his rented room in Kumharpura under Kotwali police station area on Wednesday. Police said that the deceased Rahul Bharaskar was found hanging and was rushed to hospital where he was declared dead.

The deceased after completing his nursing course started to work with Chriayu hospital as male nurse. He hailed from Betul.

After the preliminary investigation the police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and started further investigation. Reason remained unclear and would be investigated.
