A 28-year-old married woman committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at Labour Colony under Piplani police station area on Wednesday.

According to the police the deceased Guneshwari Sahu was found hanging and was taken to hospital where she was declared dead.Police were informed and on the receipt a police team reached the spot and started investigation. After the preliminary investigation the body was sent for the post mortem and a case under section 174 of the CrPC was registered by the police.

The deceased was spotted hanging by her husband who took her to hospital where she was declared dead. The husband used to work as labour. The reason remained unknown which would be investigated in the further investigation. The couple has a boy from the marriage. The deceased got married recently. The statements of the family members are yet to be recorded.

Meanwhile, a 49-year-old man committed suicide by hanging with the ceiling at BDA colony under Teelajamalpura police station area on Wednesday. The deceased identified as Prashant Pandey used to operate cable network and used to remain alone.

In the initial investigation police found that the deceased separated with his wife around a decade ago and used to remain alone. The reason behind the suicide remained unclear and would be investigation.

The police have registered a case under section 174 of the CrPC and have started further investigation. The reason behind the suicide would be investigated as the family members failed to provide reason behind the suicide.
