Badminton tournament for employees and spouses of SAIL Units, Ranchi commenced on November 16 at Badminton Hall, SAIL Satellite Township.
Tournament was inaugurated by Ajay Arora, ED I/C, RDCIS in presence of Dr. Santosh Kumar, ED (RDCIS), Jagdish Arora, ED (CET), S Parida, CGM (RDCIS) and Shailesh Bharti, GM (RDCIS) & Secretary (SUSC).
Ajay Arora appreciated the overwhelming participation by employees and their spouses. Dr Santosh Kumar and Jagdish Arora encouraged the participants to play with true sportsman spirit. Sachin Kumar (Wing Secretary- Badminton) informed that total 45 players have been divided into 4 teams. Tournament will be played on league basis. In a league match, there will five games consisting 3 Men’s Double, 1 Mix double and 1 Women’s double. Final will be played among the top two teams.
