HDFC Bank Officials on Monday paid a courtesy visit to Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel at his office in Legislative Assembly premise.
They told Chief Minister that the bank is going to organise an All India Blood Donation Camp on December 6. Chief Minister praised this campaign being organised by the bank and said that every person should come forward to donate blood.
The delegation also informed Chief Minister that the HDFC bank has been organising blood donation camps every year since 2007. Till date, nearly three lakh 10 thousand 746 units of blood have been collected through this campaign.
The bank is planning to organise 40 camps this year in Chhattisgarh, out of which 15 has already been held where 961 units of blood has been collected. If State Government gives proposal, the bank will establish blood storage units in villages. On the occasion, MLA Kuldeep Juneja, HDFC Bank State Vice-Chairman Sunil Nagpal, Assistant Vice-Chairman Kotesh Babu were also present.
