Renowned ophthalmologist of State Dr. Bharti Kashyap, attended the annual conference of the European Eye Society held in Paris recently. She also presented three scientific research papers on complex topics of ophthalmology among eye specialists from many countries of the world.
She was the only eye doctor to represent Jharkhand in this conference. Dr. Kashyap, while sharing the findings of her research paper, stated that there is no need to apply glasses for near and mid vision work after cataract surgery, for this use of various types of multifocal, trifocal and extended depth of focus intraocular lenses is done. Which type of multifocal, trifocal and extended depth of focus intraocular lenses can give much better results to the average height-sided Indian people with different needs.
