Haryana Government has set up three Government owned Incubators at "Innovation and Start-up Hub" in Gurugram to provide entrepreneurship environment for the startups.
An official spokesman of the Information Technology, Electronics and Communication Department on Saturday said taking a step forward towards building state of art incubation Network for Startups, the State Government has released a grant of Rs. 30 Lakh each to four Universities under Technical Education Department for establishing Incubation Centres in their campus. With this a grant of Rs 30 Lakh is also being released to three other universities under Higher Education Department.
New Incubator namely; United Nations Technology Innovation Lab (UNTIL) in association with United Nations is being established to promote culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among women entrepreneurs.
Apart from this, collaboration has been done with Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) for Incubator in Block chain technology. The spokesman said that existing Incubators which are being managed by different Government entities are being associated with State owned Incubation Network.
