Hry to introduce skill courses for making youth employable

On the occasion of World Youth Skills Day on July 15, Haryana Government will launch a unique initiative to provide skills and to introduce skill courses for making youth employable.

In this series, the Chief Minister Manohar Lal will participate in the function to be organized at Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak on July 15, an official spokesman said.

He said that Haryana Skill Development Mission has been a pioneer in the field of short-term training with the results of innovative methods and placement. With more than 55,000 trained youth in different areas, Haryana is on an ambitious journey to be established as the skilling capital of the country, the spokesman said.

He further aid that Shri Vishwakarma Skill University, the first Government Skill University of India, has played an important role in providing a high platform to the skill development ecosystem of the state. The Industrial Training Institutes in the state are also going through a period of systemic and structural reforms, the spokesman added.
