Special train flagged off

Under the Jharkhand Chief Minister Educational Tour Scheme, a special train departed from Hatia railway station for Bengaluru on September 13. The train has 18 coaches with 995 students and teachers from 24 districts of Jharkhand. After Bengaluru the train will further go on to Mysore. The students will visit the Lalbagh Botanical Garden, Bannerghatta Biological Park, Mysore Palace, Bonzai Garden among other places and return on September 20. In all the coaches’ food, security guards, coach attendant and a medical team is available. Director of Jharkhand Education Project Umashankar Singh, Jharkhand State In charge Quality Education Dr Abhinav, Senior Board Operations Manager and Public Relations Officer Neeraj Kumar, Yuvraj Minj, Sanjeev Kumar and others from IRCTC flagged off the train.

DPS student tops

Anish Anand, a student of Class XII in Delhi Public School Ranchi bagged first position in the Hindi Declamation Contest organized by the International Library & Cultural Centre, Ranchi. The competition was an Inter School Declamation Contest for students of Classes IXth – XIIth that held on 12th September 2019. The topic given was ‘Bharat – Ek Dharmnirpeksh, Vibhinna Saanskritiyon ka Loktaantrik Gantantra.’ Principal Dr. Ram Singh congratulated the winner and wished him luck for his future endeavours.

SBPS shines in shooting

The students of SBPS participated in the CBSE East Zone Rifle Shooting Competition held at Sapphire International School, Ranchi and have shown exemplary performance. Anushka Choudhary of grade IX grabbed Gold medal in Rifle Shooting (U-17 category) and has qualified for the CBSE Nationals. Rashi Singh of grade IX and Shreya Jaiswal and Aaditi Priya of grade X participated in the U-19 category (team event) and bagged bronze medal. Arnav Gupta of grade VI, Utkarsh Agarwal of grade VIII and Piyush Mohta of grade IX Participated in the U-17 category (team event) and bagged bronze medal.

60 years of Indo-German ties

To commemorate the 60 years of Indo-German diplomatic ties, competitions on 3R concepts, energy conservation, environment, energy efficiency, urban and industrial development, and sustainable economic development were organized with the support of Delhi Public School Ranchi, JSCA, DVC and Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency. Painting competition and Neighbourhood Activity Competition was organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft fur International Zoolognerbit (GIZ) or Indo German Development Cooperation on August 06 with the Kick –off the event at DPS Ranchi. Further on September 12, the jury team selected 50 paintings and 20 best entries of Neighbourhood Activities of students from different schools of Ranchi. Almost 8000 students participated at the school level out of which 500 were selected in the first round and finally 50 best paintings and 20 best entries of Neighbourhood Activities were selected by the jury members.

Ziqitza trains over 6000 students

Ziqitza Healthcare Ltd. (ZHL) has successfully trained over 5500 students across 7 schools within a span of 15 days, as part of their First Responder Program (FRP)undertaken by the company.  Ziqitza till date has suceesfully trained more than 6000 number of citizens in Jharkhand ,through the programme since its inception in year 2005. Ziqitza organized 10 raining programs for students, where 7 prominent schools from Jharkhand participated, namely JMJ School Doranda, S S Doranda Girls +2 High School,  St. John English Medium School Seventh-day Adventist English High School, Ismailia Momin Urdu Girls High School, Holy Cross School and Adarsh Vidya Mandir.

Flipkart partners with 10,000 general trade stores

Flipkart leading eCommerce marketplace, is introducing ‘Flipkart Authorised BuyZone’, a programme to help millions of new shoppers from metro cities, tier 2 and 3 towns have an easy experience while shopping for mobile phones, select large appliances and consumer electronics this festive season. For this, Flipkart has partnered with close to 10,000 general trade stores in almost 700 cities, across 20 States in India, which will assist the new set of shoppers access a vast selection of mobile phones, select large appliances and consumer electronic products from various brands, as per their budget requirements. Speaking about the initiative, Aditya Soni - Senior Director - Mobiles, at Flipkart said, “Flipkart has played a key role in the adoption of smartphones in India by ensuring strong partnerships, and bringing the best offers to our consumers in a way that suits them best. Our ‘Flipkart Authorised BuyZone’ initiative is another example of being close to our consumers and will help us build trust and credibility for Flipkart in newer markets.”

New initiative by Sanjiban hospital

Sanjiban Hospital announced its new initiative by giving Foreign Medical Graduates Examination (FMGE)training to a large group of medical students, who are from China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh. Recently Sanjiban Hospital has been playing a major role in the field of medical studies, paramedical training and nursing. Sanjiban Hospital has also tied up with Lincoln University College (LUC), Malaysia, for Doctor of Medicine (MD) course which is an equivalent degree to MBBS in India. Students will be trained for different licensing examinations like FMGE/NEXT, USMLE, PLAB etc. at Sanjiban. Lincoln University College is a QS world-ranking University
