Philanthropic gesture of Sangwari Mahila Samiti

nIn a novel gesture for the   welfare of marginalized    section of our society, Sangwari Mahila Samiti of the NTPC-Sipat donated water cooler with purifier to an old-age home at Bilaspur on Friday.

Kamala Padmakumar, president, Sangwari Mahila Samiti and office bearers of ladies club paid a courtesy visit to the old-age home and presented the items to the home management. On this occasion fruits were distributed among the home inmates.

Sangwari Mahila Samiti is the women welfare wing of the NTPC-Sipat and it is engaged in various welfare activities. Apart from this the samiti run a coaching camp for the wards of domestic help workers of    township under the banner of Disha Kendra. Among others Debasmita Mohapatra,            secretary, SMS, Nirmala Dubey, Jyotsna Bokhad, Shweta Kumud, Manisha Parasar, Durgesh Nandini Patkar and staff of HR and CSR department were   present during this visit.
