PTCUL pays Rs 4.02 crore dividend to State

The Power Transmission Corporation of Uttarakhand Limited (PTCUL) head and power secretary Radhika Jha met Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat and presented a cheque for the dividend amount Rs  4.02 crore.

She informed the chief minister that compared to financial year 2017-18, the corporation’s net profit had increased from Rs 24.62 crore to Rs 62.46 crore in financial year 2018-19.

This amount of net profit is highest among all the three corporations in the power sector in the State. Jha further informed Rawat that since its formation, PTCUL was givingdividend to the State Government for the second time.

The corporation’s managing director Sandeep Singhal informed that due] to the contribution of hardworking and dedicated personnel, the transmission loss in the State has been brought down to the minimal level of 1.27 per cent.

The availability of the transmission mechanism has also reached the high level of 99.39 per cent.

The PTCUL directors of the board of directors, Ashish Kumar, Amitabh Maitraand Anil Kumar were also present on the occasion.
