Soren addresses 6 rallies ahead of 3rd phase

Tuesday, 10 December 2019 | PNS | Ranchi

Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) executive president and former Chief Minister, Hemant Soren addressed one after another six massive election rallies on Monday to ensure victory of his party candidates for the State Assembly elections.

Soren is leaving no stone unturned to turn the tide in the party’s favour and form a Government in the State.

Soren addressed elections rallies at Nirsa seat for the party candidate Ashok Kumar Mandal, for JMM candidate Mathura Prasad Mahto from Tundi, for JMM candidate Jaggarnath Mahto from Dumri, for the party candidate Sudivya Kumar from Giridih and for the party candidate Phoolchand Mahto from Sindri. At all the rallies he witnessed massive crowd.

Addressing a public rally for the party candidate, Mathura Prasad Mahto at Tundi, the party Executive president said that this is very important election for the State and appealed to the crowed that they should cast their vote against fear, hunger and corruption to protect their water, land and forest because a lot of outsider people are eying to plunder the treasure of the State.

“We have to save our State from plunderers who came here from outside of the State because a large numbers of our ancestors had sacrificed their lives for the people of the State. After a long drawn struggle, we have got our State but the real objective of formation of the State still not fulfilled. At the one hand Prime Minister is visiting the State to save his unworthy State Government led by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, whose own minister in his Cabinet, Saryu Roy contested election against him and leveled numerous charges of corruption against him. However, the Prime Minister is appealing for votes on the name of the unworthy Chief Minister,” said Soren.

JMM’s prominent face, the former Chief Minister, is alone facing the attack of ruling Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)’s brigade, which comprises Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with BJP National president and Union Home Minister, Amit Shah and around 40 national and regional leaders including some Bollywood stars.

Addressing a gathering in support of the party candidate, Jaggarnath Mahto at Dumri by wearing garland of onions, the former Chief Minister said that deliberately the Government is trying to perturb poor people by increasing prices of onions as it is necessary part of their meal. They are saying that they are providing good governance but after couple of months the prices of onion is not decreasing, this is example of good governance of them, he added

The party is contesting the elections in alliance with Indian National Congress and former Chief Minister of Bihar, Lalu Prasad Yadav led Rashtriya Janata Dal.
