Two wanted criminals carrying reward of Rs 5000 each were nabbed by Parwalia police and recovered four motorbikes worth Rs 2 lakh on Wednesday.
The two were wanted in case of planning dacoity three months ago. According to the police, acting on a tip-off, two men were detained who were identified as wanted absconding accused as Javed Khan and Banne Khan of Sehore.
During the investigation, police recovered four bikes from their possession. In the month of August police failed a dacoity bid but the two accused managed to escape. Police started to search for the two and later a cash reward of Rs 5000 each was declared for providing the information of the two absconding accused.
Meanwhile, Teelajamalpura police have nabbed a 21-year-old absconding accused who was involved in kidnapped and raped a minor three months ago. The police nabbed Sahir Khan of Lalaria who works as driver and was involved in kidnapping and sexually assaulting a minor girl in the month of August.
In charge of Teelajamalpura police SI DP Singh said that the main accused Nadeem kidnapped the victim with Sahir Khan who was nabbed on Thursday from Lalaria. Nadeem was nabbed on September 11 and girl was rescued but Sahir remained absconding who was nabbed after police received information that he was trying to escape from his home in Lalaria. Police have registered a case under sections 366, 376 (2), 506 and 34 of the IPC and section 5 and 6 of the POCSO Act.
