Miscreants targeted house of senior salesman of private bank at Sarwadharam Colony in the morning on Monday and escaped with ornaments worth Rs 1 lakh; Kolar police have registered case and started investigation.
The victim Rahul Meena had gone to drop her wife for work and when he returned at around 10 am locks were found broken and when he entered valuables were found burgled.
Police said that the victim has claimed that two pairs of gold ear rings and two gold finger rings worth over Rs 1 lakh were burgled in the burglary. Based on the complaint of the victim police have registered a case under sections 454 and 380 of the IPC.
The victim works with a private bank while his wife is a teacher and victim had gone to drop her at college.
Meanwhile, valuables worth Rs 2 lakh were burgled from a school teacher’s house at Semra Kalan on Monday. In the morning on Friday the victim Raju Singh Dangi found that valuables were missing from adjacent room of his house.
After finding that the valuables were missing victim approached Berasia police and lodged a complaint regarding burglary. The victim is a teacher with a government school.
In his complaint the victim stated that he was asleep at the time of the burglary and claimed that valuables worth Rs 2 lakh were burgled. The total loss was around Rs 50000 claimed the victim. The police have registered a case under sections 457 and 380 of the IPC and have started further investigation.
