2,500 challaned for not wearing masks

The Delhi Police on Friday issued over 2,500 challans for not wearing face masks and violating social distancing norms amid the coronavirus outbreak. According to police, around 2,322 challans were issued on Friday for mask violation while 473 challans were issued for social distance violation. Meanwhile, 1,279  challans were issued for spitting

A total of 62,272 challans have been issued so far for mask violation since June 15 while 73,884 challans have been issued for social distancing violation. Police said that a total of 1,42,025 masks have been distributed among the needy people across the city

Meanwhile, Delhi Traffic Police has also issued 23 challans to people for consuming of Pan, Gutka, Tobacco in Public Place in last 24 hours.
