Saturday, 12 September 2020 | PNS | BRAHMAPUR

The claims of the Gajam district administration to make Brahmapur corona-free soon seems to be far from real as the virus appears to be more active once again though at a slow pace. The number of positive cases has crossed 3,400-mark. And the city’s corona death toll has reached 65.

Meanwhile, the BeMC lost one more employee. Draftsman Rabindra Kumar Panda (52), a resident of Bijipu, died on Thursday while under treatment in the Aswini Covid Hospital.

Panda was the fourth employee of BeMC to have succumbed to the virus.Corona may regain its loss in Ganjam again if fruitful restrictions are not kept at place, said some experts.
