Four bureaucrats of Ganjam have been transferred to other places, Chakravarti Singh Rathore, Commissioner, Berhampur Municipal Corporation (BeMC), now appointed as Collector Jajpur and Siddharth Shankar Swain, PD DRDA, Ganjam, now appointed as Collector Angul.
Rathore had joined BeMC only on August 20, 2018. During his short tenure as BeMC Commissioner Rathore proactively did a lot of development works of the silk city.
The BeMC got Dr Siddheshwar Baliram Bondar as its new Commissioner in place of Rathore.
