Hazaribag: Four more active cases came to light in Hazaribag on Monday. All patients have been admitted to Hazaribag Medical College and Hospital for treatment. Seven cases have been released from the HMCH after recovering from Corona in the evening. In four cases two have primary contact and another two travelling history. They are from Sadar, Tatijharia, Bishnugarh and Katkamsandi blocks. Police have recovered 15.80 lakhs as fine from different vehicles and 139 cases lodged by the police.
Hazaribag deputy commissioner Bhuvnesh Pratap Singh said in a press meet on Monday that the patients were already quarantined by the district administration in the different quarantine centers. They have history of personal contact and travelling history. In case of personal contacts, the remaining family members are negative.
He said, “It is matter of pleasure that we are going to release 7 persons to their home of Corona positive, who have recovered from the treatment in HMCH.”
Singh further said, “We have sent 2,604 persons’ reports for examination, in which 2040 reports received negative and 506 reports are still awaited. The remaining patients are under best treatment under the supervision of specialist doctors. We are providing them best food three times in a day.”
Hazaribag Superintendent of Police Kartik S said that section 144 is still active from 7 pm to morning 7 am. He appealed to the people of Hazaribag that they should try their best to maintain the social distancing and try to avoid the crowded places.
He said in last 24 hours seven cases have lodged and collected 30,500 as fine. During the lockdown periods we have collected total 15.80 lakhs rupees. He said in total police have lodged 142 cases and 146 accused have been sent to jail.
