Haryana witnesses highest single-day spike, COVID cases cross 18k mark

Haryana on Wednesday witnessed its biggest single-day spike with 691 COVID-19 fresh cases reported in last 24 hours. With this, State count crossed 18000- mark touching 18690 positive cases including 4302 active patients.

Three more deaths including two from Faridabad and one from Ambala were reported in Haryana in the last 24 hours taking total toll to 282 in State.

The case-doubling rate in Haryana on Wednesday stood at 19 days, COVID positive rate at 5.72 per cent, recovery rate recorded at 75.47 per cent, bulletin said. The fatality rate is recorded at 1.51 per cent in Haryana.The cases of COVID-19 in Haryana crossed 17000-mark on July 5.
