Hriday Drishyam to be held from January 11 to 12

Hriday Drishyam — the Great International yearly musical festival’s 4th edition —  will be organised in association with Madhya Pradesh Tourism Board and Cultural Department in Bhopal on January 11 and 12 to preserve, popularise and present National and International Performing Arts Treasures, in a unique Festival pattern.

This 4th edition of the festival will be spread across the  Bhopal city over two days at Minto Hall, Bharat Bhawan, Ravindra Bhawan and Iqbal Maidan.

The two-day musical evening will witness the performance of the great artists from all over the world like Hidayat Khan son of the legendary Ustad Vilayat Khan, globally acclaimed as the greatest of all sitarists from New York.

Lydian Nadhaswaram a 13 year old Piano genius win’s the world’s best CBS talent show. Shefali Alvares a good and dynamic Indian Playback Singer going to present Bollywood Jazz. Chandan Das a Legendary Ghazal Singer, Acknowledged by Govt. of India, performed all over the world.

Anuradha Pal, first professional female tabla player in the world, Guillaume Barraud a renowned Flute Player.

Joe Alvares and Group the curator of Hriday Drishyam going to perform Jazz, Kathak, and Flamenco. Mame Khan a Sufi and Folk singer from Rajasthan. Apart from these renowned artists, many other renowned artists will perform during the festival.

The Festival will also showcase local Talent from Bhopal and its environs. Last year also the festival has a handful of International tourists who attended the Festival, on personal Invitation.

The Festival is Non-Commercial and is brought completely free to the audience, with an average local attendance of around 30,000 to 40,000 people, each year; and a veritable Artist List that includes the Cream of our Nation’s Talent, HDMF promises an Explosive Future.
