Military College of Telecommunication Engineering, the premier technical Institution of Indian Army heralded a new phase of its growth when Lieutenant General MU Nair, Sena Medal recently took over the reins of this Alma Mater of techno warriors at Mhow.
The new Commandant comes with vast experience both in the technical arm of Corps of Signal and the General Staff matters of Indian Army.
An alumnus of the prestigious National Defence Academy, the General was awarded Sena Medal last year. Known for his relentless zeal and straight forward approach he has also tenated coveted appointments of Additional Director General, Signal Intelligence, Chief of Staff of a Corps and Command.
The General comes in with rich experience in domains of Cyber Warfare, Military Operations, Signal Intelligence and Information Technology related matters at national and international levels.
The earlier Commandant Lieutenant General Milind N Bhurke, Vishisht Seva Medal proceeded to New Delhi to take over as the new Signal Officers in Chief wef 01 Jan 2020.
