No Nagarjuna Besha darshan

Friday, 30 October 2020 | PNS | PURI

Devotees would not be allowed to pay obeisance to the deities at the Jagannath Temple in Puri during the Lords’ Nagarjuna Besha scheduled on November 27.

A decision was taken in this regard during a meeting of the Srimandir Niti Sub-Committee on Thursday. In view of Covid-19, the sub-committee decided not to allow public darshan of the Nagarjuna Besha.

Notably, the Nagarjuna Besha of the Holy Trinity falls in every 25 years.Earlier in day, the Puri district administration imposed restrictions on visit Habisyalis to city during holy month of Kartik. The administration requested Habisyalis not to visit city unless it is completely necessary.
