Jharkhand State Head of Phia Foundation Johnson Topno met Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Chief Minister's official residence and provided Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) kits worth more than Rs 1.6 lakh for the protection of health workers working in the treatment of Covid-19 patients in the State. On this occasion, the Chief Minister said the PPE kits given to the State Government by the Partnering Hope Into Action (Phia Foundation) for health workers working in various hospitals of the State is commendable.
“The State Government's priority has been to provide personal safety kits to all health workers, including doctors engaged in the service of corona virus infected patients in hospitals. Many voluntary organisations are doing positive work to deal with this disaster by coordinating with the State government in times of crisis, I thank all these organisations. All of us will be able to succeed in this fight with Covid-19,” the CM said.
On this occasion, State Head of the PHIA Foundation, Johnson Topno said that personal safety kits for the protection of all health workers including doctors, nurses, working in the treatment of Covid-19 infection patients in various hospitals of Jharkhand State is being provided by Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative. He said that in this hour of calamity, PHIA Foundation is playing its important role in the field of social service with commitment.
“Our organisation is very sensitive to the health workers working in this war of corona virus,” he said.
The Chief Minister thanked the Azim Premji Philanthropic Initiative for this commendable work.
