Urban Development Dept to e-auction land in Ranchi Smart City

In good news for people looking for residence in the State Capital, the Urban Development department is going to start the e-auction process to sell the plots in Ranchi Smart City campus.

A webinar is also being organized for the auction process. This webinar will be held on Friday, November 25 at 4 pm under the chairmanship of the departmental secretary. A link https://meet.google.com/nhp-jbdj-gii has been released by the department to include the common people in it. The department has released the link to ensure participation of maximum number of people. In this e-auction process, people will be able to hear from the departmental secretary about how the smart city has been developed.

Under the Smart City Mission , Ranchi Smart City Corporation Limited (RSCCL) is developing a greenfield based master plan covering 647.08 acres of land with provision of state-of-the-art urban infrastructure that will also offer opportunities to investors in the areas of Real Estate, health, education, housing and hospitality among others. 

In order to transform the master plan into a reality,  RSCCL wishes to invite prospective investors to participate in the e-Auction process that will be held for allotment of various plots under different land-uses within this 647.08 acres and become development partners to transform Ranchi into a sustainable , equitable and inclusive smart city.

Ranchi is one of the 100 smart cities under the Smart City Mission of the Government of India. Accordingly, Government of Jharkhand envisions making Ranchi Smart City as a knowledge hub for educational excellence- for both formal and non-formal sectors, by reinforcing its good educational institutes in preparations for welcoming knowledge based industries. An efficient managed traffic and transportation system based city aided by information technology (IT) in all aspects to reduce the travel time of commuters and incidents of traffic violations to make Ranchi a safe city for pedestrians and commuters.
