The Buxi Jagabandhu English Medium School (BJEM II), Satyabhamapur, inaugurated its Atal Tinkering Lab with great fanfare on Monday.
Minister of Science and Technology, Public Enterprises ,Social Security and Empowerment of Persons with Disability Government Ashok Chandra Panda joined the event as chief guest.
Jayadev MLA Arabindha Dhali joined as guest of honour along with the other guests, including chairman of BJ Education Society Raghunath Mishra, vice-chairman Aswin Tiwari, manager Pratap Kumar Jena and principal Khyanika Das. The valedictory ceremony was inaugurated by the chief guest, Brahmananda Double Guinness world record holder and Principal Scientist , Institute of Water Management , Bhubaneswar Dr Pothula Srinivasa. Dr Aneeya Kumar Samantara, Post Doctorate fellow School of Chemical Sciences, National Institute of Science Education and Research Programme joined as guest of honour.
The inagural day proceeded with community training and learning which was carried out by trainers from TECHB. Students from 10 different schools participated in the learning programme which led to project development and competitive learning. Raseswari Nayak was felicitated as ATL Brand Ambassador of BJEMS-II.
