BSF 57th Raising Day celebrated in Hazaribagh

The Border Security Force training center and school Meru Camp celebrated BSF’s 57th raising day on Wednesday. On this occasion Governor Ramesh Bais was the chief, who inaugurated the function and visited the campus of the training camp.

Congratulating BSF soldiers on the occasion the Governor said that it is a matter of pride for everyone that the Border Security Force is continuously working in the service of the country as a paramilitary force since 01 December 1965. Border Security Force was established with 25 corps and today with 192 corps is ready to protect the nation.

“Shortly after its establishment, this force gave a unique introduction to its indomitable courage, bravery and devotion to duty with the Indian Army by preparing the Mukti Vahini in the Indo-Pakistani War in 1971. Today, on this occasion, I pay homage to all the bravehearts of the force who made their supreme sacrifice in the defence of the nation,” he said.
