In an effort to provide cost effective public transport to bus commuters, Chalo has introduced new multi-trip plans called the Super Saver Plans for bus commuters in Bhopal. The plans allow bus commuters to travel in Bhopal for as low as Rs. 2.99. Per trip. They can be bought on the Chalo Card or the Chalo App.
Traditionally there have been only single trip tickets and unlimited travel passes in the city. The Super Saver Plans is a first of its kind offering that provides unique digital ticketing options to the commuters.
A commuter using the Super Saver 299 plan can travel in Bhopal for Rs.2.99 a trip, which now makes it the cheapest way to travel in the city.
Commuters buying the Super Saver plans on the Chalo Card can simply tap the card and pay for their ticket. Those that have the Super Saver plan on the mobile phone just need to show the Chalo App on their phones to the conductor for scanning the QR Code. Using the Super Saver to pay for tickets completely eliminates the need to carry change. In light of the pandemic, it is also one of the safest ways to pay for bus travel, given that cash is the main source of transmission in buses.
