The women's wing of the Congress in Chhattisgarh on Wednesday released a report card of what it said was seven years of misrule of the Narendra Modi government.
Addressing a press conference here, state women Congress chief Phoolodevi Netam said inflation is at a record peak and the Modi government is to blame for the rise in prices of all essential commodities.
The increase in price of edible oil has badly hampered the household budget, she said.
The women’s wing will organize state-level virtual sit-ins on June 20 to protest against the price hike, she added.
