He was a nationalist, an excellent organiser, and an advocate of antyodaya. He believed in inclusive ideology and always wanted a strong and empowered India. His dream was to make tireless efforts to establish a society free from discrimination and casteism. He was an inspiration to the people of India and a true patriot.”
This was stated by Deputy Chief Minister Dr Dinesh Sharma while speaking at a function organised on the occasion of 105th birth anniversary of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Scientific Convention Centre of King George’s Medical University in Lucknow on Saturday.
On this occasion, Union Minister Kaushal Kishore said that special emphasis was laid on taking the objectives of Pt Deendayal Upadhyay to every village and the Bharatiya Janata Party-led governments both in UP and the Centre were working to achieve this.
Uttar Pradesh Law Minister Brajesh Pathak, Urban Development Minister Ashutosh Tandon, Mayor Sanyukta Bhatia, KGMU Vice- Chancellor Dr Vipin Puri and others were present on the occasion.
