With an eye on the elections of the state assembly slated in early 2022, the Congress party has appointed Deepika Pandey Singh as co- in charge of Uttarakhand Congress. She would share the responsibility with Rajesh Dharmani and would work under the state in -charge Devendra Yadav.
The 44 year old Singh is a MLA from Mahgama assembly constituency of Jharkhand. The order of appointment of Singh was released on Thursday by the general secretary of All India Congress Committee (AICC), K C Venugopal.
