Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Adesh Gupta on Monday said migration can spark amid the lockdown and demanded the Delhi Government should come forward to ensure basic necessities like ration to workers.
The opposition party will also launch a drive under which its workers will help those patients under home quarantine. About 10 lakh masks and sanitizers will be distributed. “BJP will provide ration to all those whose all-family members are infected with the virus,” said Gupta.
He said this is the time when the Kejriwal government should call an all party meeting and take all possible help from all. He laid stress on ensuring decisions taken by the party should be implemented by all three corporations and the party in the right earnest. This is not the time to indulge in politics and need of the hour is to work in tandem with human touch, he said adding idea is to overcome the pandemic. “We are repeatedly urging the state government to go for ceramic cylinders rather than the industrial ones which can be more effective in saving humans. Besides, the black marketing of essential medicines should be completely stopped,” he added.
The Delhi BJP President said the state government officials should take stringent steps to check this in time before it is too late and also urged the people to follow all rules under corona lockdown being enforced in the capital from tonight so as to keep their nears and dears safe.
He appealed to them to keep wearing masks, keep washing hands repeatedly and maintain social distance. He said one should not venture out of house if not required and I am hopeful together we can win this war.
