The Bhopalites enjoyed the spellbound performance of Marathi Natya Sangeet on Saturday.
The event was held under Gamak series at Madhya Pradesh State Tribal Museum's Youtube Channel.
Marathi Sahitya Akademi broadcasted 'Marathi Natya Sangeet' by artists of Kalasadhak Manch Jabalpur on Sunday.
Presented by Anil Rajurkar, artist of Kalasadhak Manch Jabalpur, a melodious performance of famous theatrical songs was given in this programme.
The performance began with “Kata Rute Kunala." It was followed with “Radhadhar Madhu Milind Jai Jai†by Vilas Mandape, “Narvar Krishna Samanaâ€, “Kshan Aala Bhagyacha†by Soupriya Churi and “Marmabandhatali Theve Hiâ€, “Hey Suranno Chandra Vha†by Aruna Paranjpe were beautifully presented, leaving the audience mesmerised.
Senior artists Vijay Chandorkar and Pradeep Ranade gave accompaniment on tabla in the presentation.
At the beginning of the programme, Uday Paranjpe, Director, Marathi Sahitya Akademi thanked the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Spirituality Department of the State Government, Usha Thakur for the best wishes and expressed gratitude to all.
