Even as the minor girl Pari’s death case in Nayagarh district is still fresh in the memory, a similar incident of missing of a six-year-old girl at Dhunduligadia under the Banigochha police station in the district has again triggered shockwaves.The minor girl, identified as Baby Nayak, has gone missing while she was playing in front of her house on June 12 and her whereabouts are yet to be ascertained by the family members. Her parents and neighbours have searched frantically but failed to trace her. Later, they lodged a complaint with police and a case has been registered in this connection. “We have intensified the search with the help of sniffer dogs. All the water bodies in the village have been searched. Information has been passed on to neighbouring police stations and other districts to be on the lookout.
