In view of review security arrangements in the State capital Bhopal, a mock drill of Counter Urban Terrorism was organised in DB Mall on Wednesday 2021 under the guidance of senior officials.
The terrorists attacked the mall and made the common man hostage the sudden appearance of militants in DB Mall of Bhopal and taking citizens hostage and planted bombs at various places in the mall created panic.
DB Mall was cordoned off by security forces on the reported terror attack. The terrorists attacked the security forces officers with modern weapons. In retaliation, the ATS, Counter Terrorist Group (CTG) and Bomb Disposal Squad (BD&DS) team took immediate action and fired on the terrorists in a planned manner and fired all the terrorists and defused all the live bombs planted in the mall.
Around 40 officers including 20 personnel of ATS and CTG, 10 police personnel from District Force Bhopal and 10 personnel of Bomb Disposal squad were involved in this mock drill.
