The Odisha State Pollution Control Board (OSPCB) has ranked number one in Public Disclosure in the country.With 67 per cent information and indicators available in the OSPCB’s public domain, it has stood first. The Telangana State Pollution Control Board has also stood on equal footing with a 67-per cent tag. The Tamil Nadu State Pollution Control Board has stood second and the Madhya Pradesh State Pollution Control Board third among the 31 SPCBs. Disclosure of information in the public domain is one of the important functions of the State Pollution Control Boards to increase public participation and public awareness.
